The Joint All Domain Command and Control (JADC2) initiative promotes data sharing across all branches of the US military. It aims to enable fast, informed decision-making at the speed of need.
Fearless is proud to announce that we were recently awarded a seat on the Advanced Battle Management System (ABMS) multiple-award indefinite-delivery / indefinite-quantity (IDIQ) contract, which will support the US Air Force’s (USAF) contribution to these critical efforts.
About the ABMS IDIQ.
With the ABMS IDIQ, the USAF can issue task orders that support its contribution to JADC2. Work will focus on maturing and increasing capability across platforms and domains. It will also involve open systems design and modern software and algorithm development. The multi-level security effort will give US Air Force easy access to the development and operation services needed to support a family of unified platforms and systems.
The 10-year contract has a ceiling of $950 million, and Fearless was one of just 23 awardees this round. Any future work that Fearless performs under the IDIQ will focus on data, which was one of seven categories that awardees were eligible to win contracts under.
Maintaining the Air Force's competitive advantage.
The work performed on ABMS will be critical to ensuring that the US military maintains its competitive and tactical advantage.
Laura Congleton is the Digital Services Manager of Fearless’ Innovation Lab, and data science has been a big focus of her team’s recent work. She’s excited to provide the algorithm development and decision-making support needed to ensure that our service members are safe and supported.
“We take seriously the methods we apply to help our clients use their data to drive decisions,” Laura said. “Through the ABMS contract, we’re thrilled to have the opportunity to help get trusted information to the right decision-makers at the right time.”
