We’re proud to announce that Fearless was awarded a 5-year, $5.4 million contract to support the Office of Personnel Management (OPM).

OPM is responsible for managing the federal government’s entire civilian workforce. As part of this work, the agency manages insurance benefits for over eight million people. Its beneficiaries include federal employees, retirees, and their families, as well as employees of tribes and tribal organizations.

This massive undertaking is made possible by OPM’s Research and Oversight Repository (ROVR). Through ROVR, OPM collects, stores, and analyzes claims data from the agency’s health benefits programs.

With our IT Application Support Services for ROVR contract, Fearless and our subcontractor, CyberMedia Technologies, will help make this system more efficient and effective for OPM and for the civilian workforce it serves.

On our new contract, we’ll work to improve ROVR’s health claims data processes.

Our main objective on this project will be to streamline ROVR’s management of health claims data. This will involve supporting the system’s data collection, integration, cleansing, modeling, and storing processes.

By improving ROVR’s data management, we’ll help OPM understand the reasons behind cost increases. We’ll also help the agency identify patterns, whether it’s in health trends or in underutilized services. With this kind of information, OPM will be able to better target its resources towards programs that will benefit the maximum number of beneficiaries.

“By helping OPM better collect, manage, and analyze health claims data, we can increase the efficiency and effectiveness of the agency’s health programs. Ultimately, this will improve the overall quality of care for federal employees,” says Robert Testerman, Federal Civilian Portfolio Director.

As part of a larger OPM Blanket Purchase Agreement (BPA), the ROVR contract is just the beginning.

The ROVR contract was released as a Task Order under the OPM Digital Services Support BPA. The five-year vehicle has a ceiling of $132.8 million, and it provides OPM with easy access to modern digital services. As one of the BPA’s awardees, Fearless will have the opportunity to help modernize OPM’s tools and services to better support users across the federal government.

We’re thrilled to begin supporting this important work on our ROVR contract. Through it, we’ll help the agency get the data it needs to provide the best possible healthcare to federal civil servants.
