Fearless has been awarded a 1.5-year $10 million contract through GSA’s Technology Transformation Services, to provide cloud IT product development, API-Management, and DevSecOps.
The award is in support of GSA’s Centers of Excellence (CoE) which accelerates IT modernization at federal agencies by leveraging private sector innovation and government services while centralizing best practices and expertise for holistic transformation. The CoE leverages commercially available solutions and expertise from industry to deliver enterprise transformation initiatives in partnership with other federal agencies.
“We're excited to leverage our capability as a digital services integrator," says Alka Bhave, President of Fearless Digital. "By combining the scalability of traditional systems integrators with modern digital services capabilities, we'll support one of the government’s data modernization initiatives."
Using IT modernization to improve public health worldwide.
With this contract, Fearless will develop and implement an automated data exchange, focusing on integration with existing data feeds, enabling modern authentication, and ensuring data availability for one of CoE’s partner agencies.
Fearless will develop enterprise-grade validation pipelines and a Fast Healthcare Interoperability Resources (FHIR) API. The fast, secure, scalable, and maintainable pipelines will support the Enterprise Data Exchange (DEX) through routing, ingestion, and metadata services, as well as establishing customer-facing portals for human-readability of data and metadata and will ensure that DEX is responsive in public health emergencies.
The FHIR API will enable FHIR services across DEX as well. Leveraging user research and acquired knowledge of the maturity of the current data ingestion workflow, Fearless will enhance and expand the types of data that can be successfully integrated for use in improving public health in the United States and worldwide.
