You might have heard that Fearless is scaling our leadership team. These changes are part of our roadmap to reach $1 billion in revenue while positively changing 100 million lives across 10 countries by 2030.

To provide added expertise and fresh perspectives as we pursue this transformational growth, we’re excited to announce that we’ve brought on a Board of Advisors. This team of distinguished leaders from finance, marketing, government, and philanthropy will lend invaluable guidance as we transform into a billion-dollar enterprise by 2030.

Welcoming our Board of Advisors.

In August 2023, Fearless evolved into a digital services integrator and we designed this model to overcome both the technological and human hurdles that frequently stall digital transformation.

“Creating a Board of Advisors was a critical next step for growing Fearless,” says Delali Dzirasa, Fearless CEO. “As we look to expand our services, customers, and geographic footprint, our leadership team recognized we needed an external team with various experiences and skill sets to help us think differently and guide us as we build the next billion-dollar company.”

Fearless is honored to welcome the following advisors to our Board:

  • Ollen Douglass, Managing Partner at the Lightship Anchor Fund.
  • Brenda Freeman, Founder and CEO of the Joyeux Group.
  • Paul Leslie, Chairman of Tria Federal.
  • Maria Roat, Former U.S. Deputy Federal Chief Information Officer.
  • Alicia Wilson, Head of Inclusive Enterprise and Regional Philanthropy at JPMorgan Chase.

The Board’s wealth of expertise and commitment to driving positive change will be invaluable assets as we scale at Fearless.

Meet Ollen Douglass.

Ollen Douglass, Managing Partner at Lightship Anchor Fund, brings extensive financial services and venture capital expertise to the Fearless Board of Advisors. He’s excited about Fearless' potential to redefine profitable business as a force for global good.

Ollen hopes Fearless becomes “a category-defining, international company that helps improve the world through its business.”

With over a decade’s experience in banking and auditing, combined with his time serving as CFO of The Motley Fool Holdings, we have no doubt that Ollen will be an invaluable asset to the Fearless team.

Meet Brenda Freeman.

With over 30 years of experience in digital transformation, multichannel management, and consumer behavior trends, Brenda Freeman brings a wealth of knowledge to the Board.

“I’ve spent the past 30 years at the intersection of great brands, technology, and culture,” says Brenda. “It’s a natural fit for me to share my talents with a fast-growing technology company with similar values and mission. There is no reason why Fearless will not reach unicorn rank and become the preeminent civic tech services company out there.”

As a native Baltimorean, Brenda is passionate about elevating Fearless' presence as a responsible tech firm.

Meet Paul Leslie.

Paul Leslie has led multiple companies in the federal sector and technology spaces. He is currently the Chairman of Tria Federal, a premier strategy, advisory consulting, and technology services firm backed by Sagewind Capital. Most recently, he retired as Chairman and CEO of Dovel Technologies, a federal health technology and life science company, where he executed an aggressive growth plan and grew the company from a $10M small business to a company with revenues of over $400M.

Paul had been following Fearless in the govcon space for a while before he met Delali. "It was impressive to see Fearless navigate successfully through the challenges of transitioning from a small business to a more mature and fast-growing company," says Paul

Paul’s experience in growth, acquisitions, and the federal sector will be crucial to supporting Fearless' journey.

Meet Maria Roat.

Maria Roat brings decades of federal IT leadership experience to Fearless’ Board of Advisors. She's held prominent roles, including deputy federal CIO, CIO of the Small Business Administration (SBA), and CTO of the Transportation Department. Currently occupying several board positions, Maria still actively advises on federal IT matters.

Maria first connected with Fearless when she served as Chief Information Officer for the SBA and continued following the company after she departed from the agency.

“Fearless was instrumental in building SBA.gov into an immutable platform,” says Maria. “At the onset of the pandemic and the influx of funding to SBA for small businesses, their work paid dividends when the site scaled 825% larger than normal with 93,000 concurrent users.”

We’re excited to have the opportunity to continue working with Maria and we have no doubt that her decades of experience will be an invaluable asset as we grow.

Meet Alicia Wilson.

As a proud Baltimore native and former vice president for economic development and community partnerships at Johns Hopkins University, Alicia Wilson prioritized supporting local talent and forming deep relationships across the region. Now as the Head of Inclusive Enterprise and Regional Philanthropy at JPMorgan Chase, she continues to champion empowerment. Her role as an advisor on Fearless’ Board will allow her to share her expertise as we grow and scale.

“The group of advisors that Fearless has assembled bring together brilliant minds, but also tremendous hearts who have a track record of being effective leaders,” shares Alicia. “Fearless’ leadership will be critical as we dream audaciously about how we can build with everyone in mind. I believe that when the story is told in the next 50 years of the companies that had a transformative effect upon this country and world Fearless’ name will be amongst them.”

Alicia’s wealth of experience in economic development, community partnerships, and cultivating local talent will be an invaluable asset to Fearless.
